Sheriff
Kevin Rambosk swore in newly appointed Collier County Sheriff’s Office
employees at a ceremony Tuesday.
Sheriff
Rambosk administered the oath of office to 11 new members at a ceremony at the
Professional Development Center, 615 Third Ave. S., Naples.
In front of
their families, friends and new colleagues, these men and women affirmed to
carry out their duties as deputy sheriffs. They will serve in a variety of
positions including patrol and corrections.
Appointments:
Sheila Anderson was appointed to fiscal clerk. She
was born in Michigan and has lived in Collier County for 11 years. She comes to
CCSO from working at Rose Marina on Marco Island.
Xavier Carrillo was appointed to Corrections officer.
He was raised in Naples and is a graduate of Palmetto Ridge High School. He
comes to CCSO with military experience, and from working at the Village
Pub.
Deborah Davis was appointed to criminal research
investigator. She was born and raised in Illinois and has been a Collier County
resident for eight years. She studied sociology and criminal justice at the
University of Massachusetts. She previously worked as a senior juvenile probation
officer at the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Steven Dehaan was appointed to law enforcement
officer. He was born in North Carolina and has lived in Florida for less than a
year. He graduated with an associate’s degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College. He comes to CCSO from the Pascagoula Police Department in
Mississippi.
Jon Dubler was appointed to law enforcement
officer. He was born and raised in New York. He served for five years in the
New York Air National Guard. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s
degree in education. He comes to CCSO from the St. Petersburg Police Department
and the Department of Veterans Affairs Police Services.
Jack Ison was appointed to auto mechanic at
CCSO Fleet Management. He was born and raised in Naples and is a graduate of
Barron Collier High School. He served in the Army and is a veteran of Operation
Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He comes to CCSO after working 20
years at Tamiami Ford.
Stanley Perez Jr. was appointed to deputy trainee. He
was born and raised in the Virgin Islands and has been in Collier County for a
couple of months. He previously worked
for the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.
Vito Perilli was appointed to law enforcement
officer. He was born and raised in New York.
He is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where he earned master’s degrees
in training development, human resources and educational leadership administration.
He comes to CCSO with 23 years of experience as a law enforcement officer with
the New York Police Department.
Dominique Regis was appointed to jail technician. She
was born and raised in New York and has lived in Collier County for less than a
year. She is a graduate of the
University of Trinidad and Tobago, where she studied mechanical engineering technology.
Brian Tarazona was appointed to jail technician. He
was born in Colombia and raised in New York.
He served in the Army National Guard.
Yassiel Veciana was appointed Corrections officer
trainee. He was born in Havana, Cuba, and raised in Collier County. He is a
graduate of Palmetto Ridge High School. He attended Edison State College, where
he studied political science. He previously worked at Sweetbay
Supermarket.
