Deputies were patrolling the East Naples area when they found a stolen car parked behind the Gulf Gate Plaza early Thursday morning.After running the tag, deputies learned that the car was reported stolen from Sarasota County on Tuesday.
Investigators spoke with James Niemann, 42, of 6025 English Oaks Lane, who said that he purchased the car from a man at a Sarasota gas station and was not given a receipt.
Niemann was charged with grand theft auto.
