Deputies: Man Sold Drugs In Golden Gate

A man who deputies say sold drugs in the Golden Gate area was arrested Thursday.

Eliodoro Santos-Chavez, 61, 3411 15th Ave. S.W., Golden Gate, was charged with cocaine trafficking, sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Reports say Santos-Chavez sold drugs to undercover investigators three times since late January:

On Jan. 23 around 5 p.m, Santos-Chavez sold cocaine to an undercover investigator at 2560 39th St. S.W.

On Jan. 29 around 4 p.m. Santos-Chavez sold cocaine and five Xanax pills to an undercover investigator at the same address.

On Thursday, an undercover investigator met with Santos-Chavez at 4100 Golden Gate Parkway, where he sold the investigator cocaine.

Santos-Chavez used his 1998 Ford Ranger to transport the drugs to the deals, reports said.
