Have Stolen Credit Cards, Will Travel

A woman was arrested Monday after deputies say she used stolen credits cards for travel arrangements.

Fernanda P. Nunes Schwartz, 30, 2773 Inlet Cove Lane W., Naples, was charged with fraudulent use of credit cards and theft.

Reports say Nunes Schwartz charged more than $1,000 for a two-room suite from Jan. 9 to Jan. 14 at the Naples Doubletree Guest Suites on the credit card of a friend, Lana Lubna Alani, whom she had stayed with in Golden Gate in January.

Alani told deputies that during the time Nunes Schwartz stayed with her, from Jan. 1 to Jan. 16, her safe, along with her credit cards, were stolen from her residence.

Further investigation revealed that Nunes Schwartz made travel arrangements totaling $650 on credit cards stolen from Richard L. Thompson on which she signed his name.
