Deputies arrested a Miami man Tuesday after they say they found 40 pot plants in his moving truck during a traffic stop in Golden Gate Estates.Manuel Diaz, 53, was charged with marijuana trafficking.
Arrest reports say Diaz was driving on Oil Well Road near DeSoto Boulevard around 10:51 a.m. when deputies pulled him over on a traffic stop.
Diaz gave deputies permission to search the truck, reports said. The search turned up 40 marijuana plants in pots in the back of the truck, reports said.
The plants weighed 52 pounds and had an estimated street value of $120,000, reports said.
