Deputies arrested a 41-year-old man on felony charges Sunday after they say he wielded a knife at another man who was carrying a child in East Naples.Jose Parrado, 3381 Polly Ave., East Naples, was charged with aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, child neglect and battery.
Arrest reports say Parrado got upset with the man and began to yell at him. The man picked up a 2-year-old child and began making his way out of Parrado’s house, reports said.
Parrado grabbed a kitchen knife and followed the man, reports said. Parrado went after the man, who was carrying the child in his arms, but another man got in between them and stopped Parrado, reports said.
The man and the child left Parrado’s house, but the man returned after he realized he left his wallet inside, reports said. When he got inside, Parrado punched him in the back of the neck, reports said.
