An Immokalee woman was arrested Thursday after deputies say they found two children she was caring for living alone in a trailer without any food.Christina Flores, 35, was charged with child neglect.
Arrest reports say the children were left alone in the trailer since Monday and rode out Tropical Storm Fay by themselves.
One of the children told deputies that Flores would stop by the trailer once a day to bring them food, reports said. There was no food in the trailer when deputies found them Thursday, reports said.
The children were turned over to the state Department of Children and Families, reports said.
