WHAT: Armed robbery
LOCATION: Circle K, 8600 Radio Road, East Naples
WHEN: 1:13 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008
SUMMARY: CCSO investigators are looking for two men who they say pointed a gun at a clerk and then stole money from the cash register, sheriff'sreports said.
The clerk told investigators that he was cleaning the hot dog machine when two men entered the store wearing masks and carrying handguns, reports said.
One of the robbers held a gun to the clerk's side and demanded money from the cash register, reports said. The robbers took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, reports said.
They then ordered the clerk into the bathroom, telling him not to leave.
Deputies described one of the robbers as about 5 feet 3 inches tall, wearing black and white flowered board shorts, a brown or faded black hooded sweatshirt, a black and white bandanna and dark sneakers. The other robber was described as around 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing dark cargo shorts and a black hooded sweatshirt, and white sneakers.
