An East Naples pharmacy clerk is facing felony charges after deputies say he made fraudulent refunds and then pocketed the money, sheriff’s reports said.Eduardo L. Rodes Rodriguez, 20, 2340 Everglades Blvd., Golden Gate Estates, was charged with grand theft.
Arrest reports said Rodes Rodriguez made 39 separate fraudulent refunds from the pharmacy cash register at the Publix supermarket at 7101 Radio Road.
Rodes Rodriguez rang up $100 refunds, took the money from the register and then placed it in his pocket, reports said. The transactions took place from March 27 to Aug. 11, reports said.
