Collier County Sheriff Don Hunter received an update Thursday on the progress of the county’s new Emergency Operations Center from Dan Summers, director of the county’s bureau of emergency services, center, and Jim von Rinteln, county emergency management coordinator.The sheriff, along with several other CCSO members, toured the new EOC, which is under construction off Lely Cultural Parkway, between Edison College and Lely Elementary School, in East Naples.
The new building will house a CCSO substation, a 911 dispatch center and administrative offices for EMS.
