2 Charged With Selling Drugs To Undercover Deputies

Deputies arrested two Golden Gate men Thursday and charged them with selling cocaine to undercover investigators in September.

Collier County sheriff’s vice and narcotics investigators received information in September that Louis Irizarry was selling cocaine in Collier County, according to arrest reports. An undercover investigator met with Irizarry on three separate occasions and purchased a total of 65.5 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $2,000.

On one of the occasions Irizarry and an undercover investigator met with Ramon Cubillas to buy cocaine. Cubillas sold Irizarry 7.07 grams of cocaine in front of the undercover investigator, reports said.

Deputies located Irizarry and Cubillas in Golden Gate on Thursday and arrested them.

Irizarry, 40, 2826 53rd St. S.W., was charged with sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell and cocaine trafficking.

Cubillas, 47, 27 Coral Palms Lane, Apt. 5, was charged with sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
