A 54-year-old Immokalee man is facing a felony charge after deputies say he hit his roommate in the head with a beer bottle Thursday.Joe Mancha, 218 5th St. N., was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Arrest reports say Misty McCaig told deputies that she was in her room around 11:30 a.m. when her roommate Mancha came in and started yelling. McCaig said she told Mancha to leave if he was going to continue to yell, reports said.
Mancha threatened her and took a 32-ounce beer bottle and hit her on the forehead, causing a 2-inch lump, reports said.
Mancha then drove away in a minivan, reports said. Deputies located Mancha in the van on North 3rd Street and arrested him, reports said.
