SUMMARY: Moore and Mathias are charged with robbing a man as he walked home in East Naples late Saturday night.
Arrest reports say Margarito Ventura told deputies that he was walking near the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Carlton Street shortly after 11 p.m. when he was approached by Moore and Mathias, whom he did not know.
Ventura told deputies that Moore pulled out a large knife, held it to Ventura’s chest and demanded money, reports said. Ventura said Moore threatened to kill Ventura if he didn’t give him money, reports said. Mathias also demanded that Ventura give them money, reports said.
Ventura said Moore put his hands in Ventura’s pockets and removed cash and a cell phone, reports said.
Deputies arrested Moore on Carolina Avenue after a brief foot chase, reports said. Deputies located Mathias at his house, where he was arrested, reports said.
