Two men were arrested Monday after a deputy recognized the truck they were driving from a surveillance photograph connected with a recent burglary.
Joshua Libby, 25, of Starke, and Joshua Sumner, 23, of Cape Coral, each were charged with burglary and grand theft.
Reports say Libby and Sumner were working for a property management company and were sent to take photographs of a vacant home at 13101 Bald Cypress Lane on Jan. 26. While they were there they removed furniture and other items valued at $4,950, according to reports. The surveillance photograph was taken at the development’s guardhouse.
On Monday, a CCSO deputy pulled over the truck at around 4 p.m. at Everglades Boulevard and 2nd Avenue N.E. after recognizing it from the surveillance photograph. The driver, Sumner, also was identified as being the driver in the surveillance photo.
