Thanks to a partnership with the American Heart Association, all CCSO patrol cars are equipped with automated external defibrillators, or AEDs.AEDs are computerized devices that are attached to victims in cardiac arrest, and they provide voice and visual prompts to lead rescuers through the steps of operation.
