No Seat Belt Leads to Warrant Arrest

A traffic stop in North Naples on Wednesday led to a motorist's arrest after deputies learned she was wanted on drug trafficking charges in Hillsborough County.

Arrest reports say deputies pulled over the driver of a 2001 GMC Utility that was speeding on J&C Boulevard. The driver and her front-seat passenger, Sara Lidey, 52, of Tampa, were also not wearing seat belts.

While issuing a traffic citation to Lidey, deputies learned that she had six active warrants out of Hillsborough County charging her with trafficking of oxycodone, delivery of oxycodone and traficking of morphine.

Deputies arrested Lidey on the out-of-county warrants.
