The CCSO Marine Bureau and the Marine Upland Alliance are sponsoring a Keewaydin cleanup day on Saturday, Aug. 22.Free transportation to the island is being provided by the sailing vessel Sweet Liberty, which will leave the City Dock at 8 a.m. and return around noon.
This is a great chance to visit one of Collier County’s most beautiful beaches while maintaining good stewardship with the environment. Space is limited to 40 passengers, so RSVP to CCSO Sgt Dave Bruening at david.bruening@colliersheriff.org to ensure your spot. Please include names of all volunteers and a contact number.
