Ten Collier County students will be recognized for posters they designed during the 2009 Red Ribbon Week celebration at Thursday’s countywide Neighborhood Watch meeting.

CCSO teamed up with Drug Free Collier to promote healthy and drug-free lifestyles during Red Ribbon Week in October. Fifth-grade D.A.R.E. students in Collier County were encouraged to participate in an anti-drug art and poster contest. The posters were judged by Neighborhood Watch members.

The top six winners will receive a new bicycle for their artwork.

Special thanks would like to be given to Super Target, 2415 Tarpon Bay Boulevard, Golden Gate, for the donation of the new bicycles.
