CCSO, Community Clean Copeland

Five Dumpsters were filled with trash and debris, thanks to a partnership between the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Collier County Code Enforcement and Copeland citizens during a cleanup effort Jan. 15.

Volunteers met at Copeland Baptist Mission and set out into the community to pick up trash and debris, including old appliances, tires and car parts. Hazardous materials including paint, oil and gas were also collected and properly disposed.

Copeland residents held a bake sale and also sold hot dogs to help raise money for the new “Copeland Kids Against Drugs” group.
