The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has created a 2010 yearbook to offer the community a glimpse at some of the agency’s accomplishments and initiatives last year.
The yearbook also spotlights some of the many ways the community partnered with CCSO to maintain the great quality of life we all enjoy.
Collier County has the lowest crime rate of any metropolitan county in Florida. Only 10 of the state’s 67 counties have a lower crime rate than Collier’s and they are all located in rural areas. When it comes to traffic safety, Collier County has the highest seat belt compliance rate in the state. More than 93 percent of the motorists on Collier County roads buckle up. Accomplishments like these are possible only when law enforcement and the community work together.
