Neighbor Charged With Armed Burglary

Five Immokalee men contacted CCSO Sunday morning when they realized that a neighbor broke into their home while they were sleeping and stole around $900, reports say.

Investigators arrested and charged Justino Rios, 35, of 762 West Main St. Apt. #B, with armed burglary of a home and grant theft from a home.

Roberto Garcia reported that he woke up around 3 a.m. and saw Rios standing inside of his kitchen. Rios took off running when he was spotted by Garcia.

Two of the men sleeping at the home realized that Rios had cut a hole in their pants and stole their money.

Garcia was able to identify Rios as the man who broke into his home because he lives next door.
