A man was arrested Tuesday after deputies say he stabbed his nephew during an argument in East Naples.
Mario Ramos, 53, who is homeless, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and battery.
Reports say that Ramos’ brother drove him to 11141 Lasko Lane at Six Ls Farm, where they met up with Ramos’ nephew, Carlos Ramos Jr., 23. All three men began drinking beer and Mario Ramos and Carlos Ramos began arguing.
During the argument, Mario Ramos stood up and punched his nephew and stabbed him in the right abdomen before running into the woods.
He was found walking along U.S. 41 East near Six Ls Farm Road around 8:40 p.m., reports said. He is a documented career criminal in Collier County.
