Man Sought For Questioning in Robbery

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery at an Immokalee cell phone store last year.

On Jan. 20, 2007, around 7:21 p.m. a man walked into Metro 1 PCS & Cellular Inc. and pulled a black semiautomatic handgun from his pants, according to reports.

The man held the store employees behind the counter while a plastic bag was filled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The robbery was caught on video by a store surveillance camera.

The robber is described as Hispanic, about 6 feet tall with a thin build. He had short hair and side burns. He was wearing khaki chino pants, a tan long-sleeve shirt with a print of Jimi Hendrix on the front and a khaki baseball cap. He was wearing black Nike tennis shoes with a white swoosh.
