Teen Charged After Knife Threat

Angry that his mother had taken his drums and radio from him, a 17-year-old Golden Gate boy grabbed two kitchen knives and threatened to stab and cut her up, reports say.

Michael Ronjerone Foster, 1943 40th Terrace S.W., was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Sunday.

Reports spell out the following details:

Michael Foster's mother, Rose Foster, told her son to go to bed at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, but he became angry that he couldn't stay up and watch television. He went to his bedroom and began to bang his drums and play his radio loudly. When he refused to stop, Rose Foster went into the room and took the drums and radio from him.

Rose Foster told deputies her son then went to the kitchen and returned with two large kitchen knives, telling her he was going to stab her and cut her up if she didn't return the drums and radio. Rose Foster then locked herself in her bedroom.

Michael Foster then threatened to break her car, which was parked outside. At that time Rose Foster returned his belongings to him and he ran from the house. He returned shortly before deputies arrived and was arrested.
