Two Arrested After Party Fight

Two unwanted guests at a Golden Gate Parkway party were arrested early Sunday after deputies say they beat the host who asked them to leave.

Erin Peres, 22, and Alvarez Avenamar, 28, both of 1960 Sunshine Blvd., were charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Peres was also charged with resisting arrest.

Reports say the host of the party, Erwin Hernandez Chan, asked Peres, Avenamar and two other guests to leave. They refused, and remained in the front yard of the 1863 40th Terrace S.W. home. Erwin soon saw the four arguing with other guests and again told them to leave or he would call 911. Witnesses told deputies Peres and Avenamar picked up several large rocks from the driveway and began hitting Chan in the head with them. Once he fell to the ground they began punching and kicking him.

The men then left in a black Saturn SUV.

When deputies arrived one of the guests led them to the home Peres and Avenamar share. Once there, Avenamar was arrested without incident, but Peres tensed his arms and shifted away from deputies, forcing them to wrestle him to the ground to handcuff him safely.
