Post-Fire Frappuccino?

A 66-year-old Golden Gate woman was arrested at a downtown Naples Starbucks Thursday, less than five hours after investigators say she set fire to her apartment.

Louise Weiner, 66, of 4750 Whistler’s Green, Apt. 8, was charged with arson. Investigators with the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the State Fire Marshal’s Office say she started three fires inside her apartment sometime before 6:14 a.m., then locked the door and left.

Firefighters had to pry open the locked door when they arrived. Inside, the apartment was filled with smoke and there was localized fire damage in three areas. The blaze also triggered the building’s sprinkler system in Weiner’s unit and the adjacent apartment, causing water damage in each.

The two-story building contains eight units.

Deputies found Weiner at 10:57 a.m. at the 796 5th Ave. S. Starbucks. She was taken to the Golden Gate Sheriff’s Substation, where she was later charged.
