A teenager was arrested tonight after deputies say he set fire to house in Immokalee using a homemade explosive device.
George Davis, 19, 672 Hope Circle, Immokalee, was charged with arson and possession of a destructive device.
Reports say Davis threw a Molotov cocktail at the back of a house at 807 Palm Ridge Drive around 5:30 p.m.
Witnesses saw Davis behind the house pouring a liquid substance into a bottle, light it and then throw it, hitting the corner of a window and causing an explosion. Davis then ran away.
Neighbors quickly put out the fire with hoses. Damage to the home, owned by Tammy Rowe, was minimal.
