Evangelina Guadalupe Sierra, 36, of Fort Myers was charged with grand theft of $300 to $5,000.
The thefts were reported by Linens & Things, 1000 Immokalee Road.
Reports say Sierra kept customer receipts after they paid cash for merchandise and then processed the receipts for a cash refund, taking the money from store registers and then keeping the cash.
Store officials learned of the thefts after a customer came to the store seeking a cash refund. As the refund was being processed, it was discovered that it had already been processed at an earlier date by Sierra.
