A man was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he threatened to stab a woman with a broken bottle during an argument over money.Anibal Ramirez, 21, 216 N. 4th St., Immokalee, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Reports say Ramirez and the woman, Juanita Bender, 41, were arguing in the parking lot outside Super Azteca, 208 W. Main St. in Immokalee, around 7 p.m.
Bender told deputies the argument was over money that Ramirez owed her. While they were arguing, Ramirez went around the building and grabbed the neck of a broken glass beer bottle and told Bender that he was going to cut her, reports said.
