Deputies are investigating a robbery that happened Sunday night near the Hitchin’ Post Plaza in East Naples.
Andrew Robert Penfield 22, told deputies that he was thrown against a Dumpster and knocked to the ground and robbed of $10, a cellular phone and his cigarettes.
The robbery happened around 8 p.m. at U.S. 41 East and Barefoot Williams Road, reports say.
One robber is described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old with short hair, standing around 5 feet 7 inches tall. He wore a blue T-shirt and jean shorts. The second robber is a Hispanic man also around 30 years old who had long hair in a pony tail and stood around 6 feet 2 inches tall. He wore a red tank top and khaki shorts.
