Deputies arrested a 46-year-old man and charged him with a felony Wednesday after they say he threatened his son and another man with a pink baseball bat.Robert C. Pontes, 2535 Airport-Pulling Road N., Apt. L6, North Naples was charged with aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony.
Arrest reports say Pontes was upset over his 19-year-old son Christopher’s relationship with another family.
Pontes threatened Christopher and friend Nicky Dinger, 18, at Dinger’s residence at 3454 Dorado Way, North Naples, with a pink baseball bat, using the bat as if it were a weapon, reports said.
Pontes told deputies he went over to Dorado Way with a pink baseball bat that he kept at the bar he used to own, but that he didn’t threaten to hit anyone with it, reports said.
