A text message from an ex-boyfriend led to a fight between a pregnant woman and her current boyfriend, sheriff’s deputies say.
Justin Boom, 19, of 300 E. Delaware Ave., Immokalee, was arrested Sunday evening and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant person.
Deputies say Nellie Williams, 20, and Boom were walking down Price Street in Immokalee when the text came in and angered Boom. Witnesses reported seeing Boom attack Williams. Boom ran off and was later found and taken to the Immokalee jail.
