Two Charged With Stealing Belly Rings

Two people were arrested on felony charges Wednesday after deputies say they stole body piercing rings from an East Naples tattoo parlor while customers were getting tattoos.
Danyel Marie Seabury, 27, 1067 Shadowlawn Drive, East Naples, and Bryan Rodriguez, 20, 350 10th St. N., Naples, were each charged with grand theft and criminal mischief.

Arrest reports say Seabury and Rodriguez pried open a display cabinet and stole three belly rings valued at $935 from Body Branding Tattoo Emporium, 1650 Airport-Pulling Road, on Monday.

The shop owner told deputies he was giving someone a tattoo when he heard a noise coming from the display area, reports said. He looked up and saw Rodriguez standing behind the display counter, reports said. He told Rodriguez to leave and returned to tattooing the customer, reports said.

Store surveillance tapes showed Rodriguez and Seabury behind the counter at the time of the theft, arrest reports said.
