Deputies: Man Threatened 2 With Knife, Pipe

A man was arrested Tuesday night after deputies say he pulled a knife on his brother and chased his girlfriend down East Naples streets with a lead pipe during an argument.

Omar Obregon, 32, 42 Moon Bay St., East Naples, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Arrest reports say Francisco Obregon, 34, told deputies that he and his brother Omar Obregon were arguing over Omar Obregon’s girlfriend Kathleen Horton, whom Francisco Obregon used to date, shortly before 9 p.m.

Omar Obregon picked up a knife and pointed it at his brother. He then left the house, reports said.

When he returned he began arguing with Horton, 20. He picked up a lead pipe and chased Horton down Moon Bay Street across Port Au Prince Boulevard and down Isle of St. Thomas Street, telling her he was going to kill her, reports said.

Omar Obregon caught up to Horton, slammed her into a parked car and began choking her, reports said. She bit him on the arm and he pushed her to the ground, reports said. The altercation ended when someone came out of a nearby house, according to reports.
