Sheriff Rambosk Appointed To Youth Haven Board

Sheriff Kevin J. Rambosk has been appointed to the Youth Haven Board of Trustees.

“Protecting the children of Collier County is at the very heart of our core values that include community, safety and service,” Sheriff Rambosk said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Youth Haven Board of Trustees and more importantly, to serve our children and help them to have a safe, healthy and productive future.”

Youth Haven is Collier County’s only emergency shelter for abused, abandoned, and neglected children as well as the sole provider of an array of successful home-based parenting education, crisis intervention, and family support programs that divert children from the foster care system and keep families together. On-site behavioral counseling is also provided to all children in residence and children and families in the community in need of psychological and psychiatric care through the organization’s Center for Children’s Behavioral Health Program. Youth Haven provides services to more than 1,800 children and family members annually and has been in continuous operation since 1972. Sheriff Rambosk’s appointment was announced by Youth Haven President Brad Marshall, who said Sheriff Rambosk’s commitment to children and families make him a perfect fit for the board.

“Youth Haven and the CCSO’s relationship is one of utmost admiration from its members at all ranks as we work in tandem to protect and enrich the lives of our community’s most vulnerable young residents,” said Marshall. “We are extremely fortunate to have one of our community’s most commendable and deeply committed child and family advocates as a member of our board.”
