Composite Sketch Released In Bank Robbery



The Collier County Sheriff’s Office has released a composite sketch of a person detectives want to question about the Aug. 12 robbery at the Fifth Third bank branch at 5101 U.S. 41 E. in East Naples.

Deputies said a man with a gun robbed an East Naples bank Friday afternoon.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office has released bank surveillance video images.

Deputies said the man entered the Fifth Third bank branch at 5101 U.S. 41 E. shortly before 3:30 p.m. The man had his face covered with what appeared to be a white shirt with eye holes cut out.

He displayed a gun to a teller and demanded money. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled the bank. No one was harmed.

Deputies said the robber was described as 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches with a thin to medium build. He was wearing blue jeans and a long-sleeve shirt.

Deputies, with assistance from the CCSO's K-9 and aviation units, are actively searching for the suspect.

An investigation continues.
