Cell Dog Watch: The Great Outdoors

The cell dogs and inmate handlers had the chance to go outside for some formal obedience and agility training Tuesday afternoon. Since it was the group's first outdoor training session, the handlers had to work extra hard to keep the dogs focused as they were all eager to run around in the grassy area in front of the Naples Jail Center. Cell dog Amy and her handler practiced some basic agility using a dog tunnel. In addition to running through the tunnel, the dogs also practiced their sit, stay, lay down and come commands.
