East Naples Woman Charged In Connection With Husband’s Death
Collier County Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested an East Naples woman in connection with her husband’s death Monday night.
Deputies were called to the 760 Provincetown Drive home of Jack Johns, 72, and Helen Hope Johns, 68, shortly before 11 p.m. at the request of a concerned out-of-state relative. When they arrived they located Helen Johns and the body of Jack Johns inside the home.
Detectives have determined that Jack Johns was shot.
Helen Johns was being booked into the Collier County jail Tuesday morning on a charge of second-degree murder.
An investigation continues.
Helen Johns’ arrest report and photo will be released when they become available.
