A North Naples man with a history of making threats against law enforcement was arrested in Fort Myers on a Collier County Sheriff’s Office warrant Friday afternoon.
John Christopher Lyles, 27, 675 100th Ave. N. Unit B, was arrested by Fort Myers Police officers. He was wanted for violation of state probation.
Lyles has made threats against law enforcement officers in the past. Most recently, Lyles called CCSO deputies to his house Jan. 29 to report the theft of an iPod. While deputies were there Lyles told them they would “go down” if they pushed or pulled on his door. He also told deputies he would defend himself against them and go “buck wild crazy” if necessary.
