Take Aim Against Child Predators

If you’re looking for an exciting way to spend a day for a great cause, the Take Aim Against Child Predators pistol competition may be for you.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19 at the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Gun Range, 4441 70th Ave. N.E., Naples. Proceeds benefit the Collier County branch of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In addition to the competition itself, participants and spectators will see live demonstrations by the CCSO SWAT team and Bomb Squad.

Pistols, ammunition, eye and ear protection will be provided. Lunch is also included in the registration fee.

Competitors pay $500 each, or obtain event donations in that amount. Spectators are welcome as well. The spectator/general admission donation is $25. Sponsorships are still available at $250.

The competition is presented by the Collier County branch of NCMEC, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the Codispoti Foundation.
