In the second traffic fatality of the day, a motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in North Naples after a car turned in front of him, Collier County sheriff's deputies say.
Mark Zieminski, 38, of 3033 Buena Vista Lane, Naples, died in the 4:30 p.m. crash at Pine Ridge Road and YMCA Road.
Reports say a 2006 Infiniti driven by Hunter Green, 16, of 13124 White Violet Drive, Naples, was traveling west on Pine Ridge Road. Green was attempting a left turn into Carillon Plaza at YMCA Road.
Zieminski was traveling east on Pine Ridge, approaching YMCA Road when Green turned into front of Zieminski's motorcycle. The motorcycle then struck the right side of the Infiniti.
Zieminski was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
No criminal charges will be filed.
