MEDIA PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: CCSO CarFit demonstration

Senior motorists have an opportunity Friday to check how well their personal car “fits” them.
It’s all part of a CarFit demonstration by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Moorings Presbyterian Church in Naples.
Developed through a collaboration among the American Society on Aging, AAA, AARP, and the American Occupational Therapy Association, CarFit offers older adults the opportunity to improve the fit of the cars so they’ll be safer on the road.
Trained CCSO specialists will go through a 12-point checklist to see how well senior drivers and their cars go together.
