A North Naples teen was charged after deputies say he took a credit card machine from the Tarpon Bay clubhouse and then ran from officers trying to apprehend him.Jarek Green, 17, 731 Glendale Ave., was charged with burglary, grand theft and resisting arrest without violence.
Deputies were called to the 471 Bay Club Drive clubhouse at around 7:30 p.m. to respond to an alarm activation. As they pulled up they saw someone who was later identified a Green leaving the clubhouse with a credit card machine in his hands. When he saw deputies he set the machine down and ran.
Reports said the suspect continued to run, ignoring orders to stop. He was apprehended as he was trying to scale a wall.
