Bradenton police are seeking the public’s help in locating a Naples father and daughter who turned up missing after heading out for a Bradenton area beach Thursday morning.
Michael Marino, 59, and his daughter, Lena Ann Marino, 8, are believed to be in a tan or silver 2007 four-door Mercedes Benz with a Florida license plate of LENAANN.
Bradenton police say Michael Marino approached a police officer in Tampa around 10:30 a.m. Thursday asking for directions to Sarasota. The officer later said he seemed confused. After receiving directions to Sarasota, which was south of his location, Michael Marino headed north to Tampa instead, the officer said.
